Abstract

This article analyzes the transformation of female image stereotypes in modern Uzbek literature based on the stories of Nazar Eshonqul. The study highlights the artistic interpretation of traditional and modern female stereotypes through the images of Bayna momo and Rahima in the stories “Shamolni tutib bo‘lmaydi” and “Odam.” The representation of the female image in the forms of a self-sacrificing mother, a vengeful mother, a victimized woman, and a bearer of historical trauma is revealed through psychological realism, hermeneutic, and intertextual approaches. In addition, the article examines aspects of female images related to social consciousness, historical memory, cultural identity, and gender equality.
