The article examines key pragmatic parameters determining the adequacy and equivalence of translation from Russian to Uzbek. Based on texts of various functional styles, strategies for conveying implicit meanings, culture-specific realities, and communicative intentions are analyzed. The methodological basis of the study includes the concepts of pragmatic equivalence by V.N. Komissarov and the sociolinguistic approach of A.D. Shveitser. It has been established that achieving pragmatic correspondence in Russian-Uzbek translation requires comprehensive adaptation, taking into account typological differences of language systems and the cultural codes of the recipient.Библиографические ссылки
