This article provides an in-depth analysis of the fundamental theory "Two Models of the Criminal Process" developed by the prominent legal scholar Herbert L. Packer. The study examines two competing conceptual frameworks that govern the criminal justice system: the "Crime Control Model" and the "Due Process Model." It offers a comparative legal analysis of the characteristics, value systems, and procedural differences between these models as proposed by the author, highlighting their role in balancing individual rights and public safety.References
