Abstract

The rapid proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and digital assessment platforms has fundamentally transformed the landscape of language skill evaluation. This paper examines the role of modern technologies in assessing the four core language competencies within second and foreign language education contexts. The findings indicate that AI-powered assessment offers significant advantages in terms of scalability, objectivity, consistency, and immediate feedback. The paper concludes by proposing a hybrid assessment model integrating technological efficiency with pedagogical judgment.
