This article examines the importance of diplomas and practical skills in the modern labor market. The study analyzes the changing demands of employers under the influence of globalization, digital transformation, and technological development. While diplomas remain important indicators of academic qualification, practical skills and professional competencies are increasingly becoming decisive factors in employment. The article also discusses the balance between formal education and skill-based learning in ensuring career success and competitiveness.References
