Abstrak

This article examines the importance of modal verbs in the English language and explores modern approaches to teaching them effectively. Modal verbs play a significant role in communication by expressing ability, possibility, permission, obligation, and advice. The study highlights the importance of interactive teaching methods, contextual learning, and communicative activities in improving students’ understanding and usage of modal verbs.
