The globalization of trade and the rapid expansion of e-commerce have significantly increased the circulation of counterfeit goods across international borders. Counterfeit products represent a major threat to national economies, intellectual property rights, consumer safety, and public health. Governments worldwide are increasingly utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to strengthen customs control and improve the detection of counterfeit goods before they enter domestic markets. This thesis examines the role of artificial intelligence in customs operations, risk assessment, document verification, product authentication, and international cooperation aimed at combating counterfeit imports. The study highlights the benefits, challenges, and future prospects of AI-driven customs systems in enhancing border security and protecting legitimate trade.Библиографические ссылки
