This article analyzes the relationship between dialects and the literary language in the Uzbek language system. The study examines the linguistic, social, and cultural significance of Uzbek dialects and their influence on the development of the literary language. Particular attention is paid to phonetic, lexical, grammatical, and stylistic differences between dialectal speech and the standard literary language. The article also discusses the role of dialects in preserving national identity, enriching vocabulary, and reflecting regional cultural characteristics. Furthermore, issues related to language norms, language culture, and the impact of globalization on dialect usage are explored. The findings indicate that dialects and the literary language are interconnected components of a single language system and together contribute to the historical and cultural development of the Uzbek language.References
