This article challenges the traditional dichotomy between "reason and emotion," analyzing emotions as an essential "software" component of the human cognitive architecture. The author explores the role of emotions not merely as subjective experiences but as fundamental mechanisms for information filtering, memory consolidation, and decision-making from a neurobiological perspective. Based on contemporary research, the paper highlights how the "neuronal dialogue" between the limbic system and the prefrontal cortex shapes our logical conclusions, the role of the amygdala in data filtration, and the impact of affective states on intellectual efficiency. The research findings endorse the symbiosis of emotional and rational processes in understanding the holistic model of human consciousness.References
