Аннотация

Deixis as a linguistic phenomenon represents one of the fundamental mechanisms of human language, providing a link between linguistic expression and the context of its use. The term "deixis" (from Greek δεῖξις - "indication") denotes a class of linguistic units whose meaning can be interpreted only taking into account the speech act situation - its participants, time and place of utterance.
