STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SATIRICAL DISCOURSE IN PROSE
Vol. 4 No. 60 (2026) 115-117
Abstract
this article examines the structural characteristics of satirical discourse as a special form of literary text organization aimed at critically understanding social reality. The compositional, narrative, and linguistic levels of satire, as well as the mechanisms for generating comic effect, are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the "norm-deviation" opposition as the basic structural principle of satirical text. It is shown that satirical discourse is a multilayered system in which explicit and implicit meanings interact, providing evaluativeness and interpretative ambiguity.
