This article analyzes the artistic expression of tragedy in human and social life in 21st-century Uzbek prose and dramatic literature. It highlights the processes of renewal that emerged in Uzbek literature after independence, as well as the restoration of national consciousness and historical memory, which contributed to the formation of new artistic principles in prose and dramaturgy. The article also scientifically examines the development of psychologism, mystical realism, modernism, postmodernism, and socio-realistic trends in short stories, novellas, novels, and dramatic works.References
