Ecotourism has emerged as a significant sector contributing to sustainable development, environmental protection, and socio-economic growth. This paper examines the role of ecotourism in the regional development of Uzbekistan, focusing on its economic, environmental, and social impacts. The study is based on a qualitative review of academic literature and explores the potential of ecotourism within the national context. It also identifies key challenges, including insufficient infrastructure, weak marketing strategies, and the lack of effective management systems. The findings suggest that the successful development of ecotourism in Uzbekistan depends on the implementation of integrated management approaches, investment in infrastructure, and the adoption of modern promotional strategies.References
