Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly influenced modern education systems throughout the world. In recent years, artificial intelligence technologies have become increasingly popular in language learning and teaching processes. Among these technologies, chatbots are considered one of the most useful educational tools for improving communication skills. Chatbots are computer programs designed to simulate human conversation through text or voice interaction (Dale, 2016). They allow learners to communicate in a foreign language in an interactive and supportive environment. Today many educational institutions integrate chatbot technologies into English language teaching because they provide learners with additional opportunities to practice speaking both inside and outside the classroom.
