Abstract
In this thesis, the significance of sensory play in the development of fine motor skills in preschool-aged children is explored from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Sensory activities serve as an educational tool that enables children to perceive the world through their fingers, palms, and sensory organs, enhances hand–Amovement coordination, stimulates speech development, and supports the acquisition of independent experience. The study analyzes the types of sensory games and materials, methods of their application, and relevant pedagogical approaches. In addition, the impact of sensory play on the child’s psychophysiological development and recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of play activities are presented.
