LINGUO-PRAGMATIC FEATURES AND SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF METAPHORICAL SUBTEXT IN RIDDLES
Annotatsiya
This article investigates the phenomenon of metaphorical subtext within folk riddles, highlighting their role as a foundational genre of oral folklore. It elucidates how metaphorical subtext functions as a primary mechanism for encoding hidden information and stimulating cognitive reasoning. Furthermore, the study examines the syntactic-semantic architecture of subjects, objects, and predicates carrying metaphorical subtext, illustrating their communicative roles and structural realizations through empirical textual analysis.
