This article examines the role of authentic materials in enhancing the reading comprehension of academic lyceum students. It discusses their contribution to vocabulary development, grammatical awareness, critical thinking, learner motivation, and intercultural competence while outlining practical strategies for their successful classroom implementation. The analysis demonstrates that authentic materials significantly improve reading comprehension when carefully selected according to learners' proficiency levels and supported by appropriate instructional activities.Iqtiboslar
