This academic work examines the historiography of the Jadid movement's spiritual-enlightenment activity, tracing its conceptual evolution from the Soviet period to contemporary post-Soviet and Western scholarship. The study analyses how the interpretation of Jadidism has shifted dramatically across different ideological and methodological contexts, reflecting broader transformations in historical writing and national identity formation.
