Mazkur maqolada J.R.R.Tolkien (Jon Ronald Ruel Tolkien)ning The Lord of the Rings ("Uzuklar hukmdori") hamda J.K.Rovling (Joan Ketlin Rowling)ning Harry Potter ("Garri Potter") asarlarida yaxshilik va yovuzlikning mifologik modeli qiyosiy-tipologik yondashuv asosida tadqiq etiladi. Tadqiqotda mifologik dualizm, arxetip nazariyasi va qahramon modeli asosiy nazariy tayanch sifatida qo‘llanildi. Tahlil natijalari Tolkien va Rowling asarlarida yaxshilik va yovuzlik qarama-qarshiligi umumiy mifologik ildizlarga ega ekanligini, biroq ushbu modelning badiiy talqinida sezilarli farqlar mavjudligini ko‘rsatdi. Tolkienda yovuzlik kosmik va tashqi kuch sifatida tasvirlansa, Rowling asarlarida u insonning axloqiy tanlovi va ruhiy buzilishi bilan bog‘liq holda talqin qilinadi.
