It influences public opinion, shapes cultural values, and contributes significantly to social, political, and economic development. With the rapid advancement of digital technologies, media has evolved from traditional forms such as newspapers, radio, and television to digital platforms including social media, online news portals, and streaming services. This article examines the concept of media, its major functions, different types, and its impact on individuals and society. Furthermore, it discusses both the positive and negative effects of media and highlights its importance in the digital age.
