Abstrak

The modernization of higher education has significantly changed approaches to language teaching. Traditional teacher-centered methods are gradually being replaced by interactive approaches that encourage student participation and active learning. In English language education at universities, interactive methods play an important role in developing communication skills, motivation, and critical thinking abilities. This article examines the significance of interactive teaching methods in English instruction for university students and analyzes their advantages and practical applications. The discussion highlights various techniques such as group discussions, role-playing activities, collaborative learning, problem-solving tasks, and technology-assisted interaction. The article argues that interactive methods create a more dynamic learning environment and increase students’ engagement in the educational process. Furthermore, these approaches help learners improve language competence while developing confidence and communication skills necessary for academic and professional contexts.
