Special attention is given to the psychophysiological mechanisms involved in listening, including perception, auditory memory, inner speech, and anticipation. The study employs theoretical and comparative analysis methods. Additionally, practical recommendations for developing listening skills are provided based on the example of teaching the Persian language.
