Abstract

This article is devoted to the issue of teaching spelling in primary school. It analyzes the essence, importance, goals, and main objectives of spelling instruction. The author emphasizes that learning spelling is not only about memorizing writing rules, but also an essential means of developing literacy, logical thinking, attention, and written language skills in students. The article suggests effective methods for teaching spelling, such as dictations, spelling exercises, educational games, and fundamental teaching principles.
