METHODS OF TEACHING F. CHOPIN’S WORKS IN THE SUBJECT OF MUSIC CULTURE AT SCHOOLS

This article scientifically and methodologically substantiates the pedagogical-psychological characteristics and effective methods of teaching the works of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin in the course of “Music Culture” for 5th–7th grades in general secondary schools. Taking into account the age and psychological characteristics of students, ways to organize lessons based on interactive technologies, game-based and project-based methods are presented. The educational significance of Chopin’s music is highlighted.
