THE ROLE OF TRANSPORT IN THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

Abstract
This article discusses the role of transport networks in the socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan in the post-World War II years. It highlights how the development of automobile, railway, and air transport created favorable conditions for the rapid growth of agriculture and industry in the republic.
