The works "Memoirs of a Madman," "November," and the early edition of the novel "Education of Feelings" are analyzed, in which the characteristic features of Flober's future poetics are manifested: psychologism, attention to the internal conflict of the individual, the desire for objectivity in artistic depiction, and increased demands on style.
