This article examines the formation of rare book and manuscript collections within the framework of museum and library systems in Uzbekistan during the Soviet period, with particular attention to their inter-institutional movement and institutional characteristics. The study is conducted within a qualitative research framework, employing historical-source analysis, comparative-historical methods, and systemic analysis. The empirical basis of the research consists of materials from the Central State Archive of the Republic of Uzbekistan, covering the period from the 1920s to the 1950s.Downloads
