Abstract

1928-yil Aleksandr Fleming tomonidan penitsillinning kashf etilishi tibbiyotda inqilob qilib, ilgari oʻlimga olib keladigan infeksiyalarni bir necha kunda davolash imkonini berdi. Biroq, bakteriyalarning evolyutsion moslashishi natijasida bugungi kunda antibiotiklarga chidamlilik (rezistentlik) global inqirozga aylandi. JSST maʼlumotlariga koʻra, 2019-yilda rezistent bakteriyalar keltirib chiqargan infeksiyalar tufayli dunyoda 1,27 million inson vafot etgan boʻlib, bu koʻrsatkich jigar kasalliklari yoki bezgakka nisbatan yuqoridir. Agar tizimli choralar koʻrilmasa, 2050-yilga borib ushbu koʻrsatkich yiliga 10 million kishiga yetishi va dunyo tibbiyoti "antibiotiklardan oldingi era"ga qaytib qolishi mumkin.
