Abstract

This article discusses modern pedagogical approaches to preparing primary school students for reading comprehension from an early age. The study analyzes the role of imagination, emotional perception, visual thinking, and communicative environment in the process of text comprehension. Unlike traditional reading methods, innovative approaches such as “semantic anticipation,” “visual thinking,” “micro-dialogic reading,” and the “auditory description” method are recommended. The article also promotes the idea of developing children’s interest in reading through natural motivation and emotional engagement.
