Abstract

This thesis analyzes the translation and scientific study of the works of Saadi Shirazi in England. Particular attention is given to the English translations of “Gulistan” and “Bustan,” their role in the European literary environment, and the scholarly research conducted by Orientalists. Furthermore, the spiritual and aesthetic influence of Saadi’s works on English literature is examined.
