Аннотация

The duwtar, a traditional musical instrument, holds a significant place in the cultural heritage of Karakalpakstan, an autonomous republic in Uzbekistan. This article explores the history, construction, and cultural importance of the duwtar in Karakalpak society. By delving into its origins, evolution, and role in traditional music and rituals, we aim to highlight the instrument's unique contribution to the region's rich cultural tapestry.
