Academic and industry scientists' methods for finding new pharmaceuticals have recently seen a real resurgence, with numerous innovative and fascinating approaches being created just in the last five to ten years. A significant obstacle is the ineffectiveness of current medications, the lack of information non society regarding the pharmacotherapy and prophylactics of the most prevalent diseases today, and the creation and discovery of novel, safe, and well-tolerated drugs. As the COVID-19 pandemic shown, this can affect not just the standard of living for individuals but also the health of entire societies. treatment discovery, preclinical development using animal and cell-based models and tests, human clinical trials, and, lastly, moving forward toward the step of getting regulatory permission, in order to sell the potential treatment, are the three key steps of the drug development process. As the success rate of drug development procedures rises, the pharmaceutical industry should be able to address current and future challenges and will continue to produce novel molecular entities (NMEs) to meet the growing unmet medical requirements of patients.
