During the first 6 weeks after total knee arthroplasty, pain, restricted range of motion, and slow recovery of walking markedly reduce daily activity, so the study aimed to assess the early effect of medical rehabilitation with computerized systems. Clinical follow-up was carried out in two groups: the intervention group received rehabilitation with an electronically controlled exercise complex, while the comparison group performed conventional exercises. Assessment was completed at weeks 0, 3, and 6 using pain intensity, knee range of motion, gait function, and the WOMAC score. By week 6, WOMAC improvement in the intervention group progressed much faster than in the comparison group: the corresponding changes were expressed as β = 8.2 and β = 9.0, and overall clinical improvement reached 42.3 %, whereas the comparison group showed 26.1 %. Range of motion and walking stability also recovered earlier in the intervention group. These findings showed that computerized systems accelerate functional recovery in the postoperative period. The scientific contribution of the study lies in the practical confirmation of the clinical advantage of electronically guided rehabilitation load during 6-week follow-up after total knee arthroplasty.
