INVESTIGATION OF THE ANALGESIC EFFECT OF PHYTO-OIL OBTAINED FROM CHAMOMILE (MATRICARIA CHAMOMILLA L.) AND ZERAVSHAN JUNIPER (JUNIPERUS SERAVSCHANICA KOM.) IN THE HOT WATER TEST
Vol. 6 No. 8 (2026): Eurasian Journal of Medical and Natural Sciences 68-74
Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the analgesic effect of phyto-oil obtained from chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) and Zeravshan juniper (Juniperus seravschanica Kom.). The antinociceptive effect was assessed using the "Tail immersion" test in hot water on 18 laboratory mice weighing 18–22 grams. This method is based on determining the latency period of tail withdrawal by a laboratory animal in response to thermal nociceptive stimulation, where an increase in the latency period indicates a decrease in pain sensitivity. This test allowed for the quantitative evaluation of the antinociceptive effect of the phyto-oil against thermal stimulation and the determination of its analgesic pharmacological potential. The results obtained demonstrated that the phyto-oil based on chamomile and Zeravshan juniper reduces thermal nociception and is not inferior to the reference drug "Menovazin".
