STUDY OF THE ANALGESIC EFFECT OF PHYTO-OIL OBTAINED FROM MEDICINAL CHAMOMILE (MATRICARIA CHAMOMILLA L.) AND ZARAFSHAN JUNIPER (JUNIPERUS SERAVSCHANICA KOM.) USING THE “HOT PLATE” METHOD

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the analgesic effect of phyto-oil obtained from medicinal chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) and Zarafshan juniper (Juniperus seravschanica Kom.). The antinociceptive effect was evaluated using the “Hot Plate” method. This method is based on determining the latency period of the response to a thermal nociceptive stimulus and makes it possible to assess the pharmacological potential of phyto-oil in reducing pain sensitivity. The obtained data may provide a basis for further investigation of chamomile- and Zarafshan juniper-based phyto-oil as a promising natural antinociceptive agent.
