Abstract

To synthesize and systematize theoretical and clinical-epidemiological data on the incidence, pathophysiological mechanisms, and clinical characteristics of preeclampsia (PE) associated with comorbid iron deficiency anemia (IDA) in pregnancy. Materials and Methods. A comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis of 85 contemporary peer-reviewed studies (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library) published between 2015 and 2025 were conducted. Theoretical modeling, comparative cohort meta-analysis, and statistical risk estimation were utilized. Results.
