Abstract

Acquired heart defects pose serious risks to the mother and fetus during pregnancy, aggravated by hemodynamic changes. Key complications include heart failure, arrhythmia, thromboembolism, and fetal hypoxia. The article examines the latest trends in the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions during pregnancy and recommendations from global guidelines
