Ushbu maqolada bugungi kunda Markaziy Osiyo mamlakatlari hududida xususan, O‘zbekiston va Qirg‘iziston davlatlari o‘rtasidagi transchegaraviy suvlardan foydalanish borasida vujudga kelgan nizoli vaziyatlar tahlil qilinib, bu borada taraflar tomonidan qo‘llanilishi mumkin bo‘lgan xalqaro huquqiy tajribalar va mexanizmlar o‘rganiladi hamda ularni qo‘llashning istiqbollari tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, suv resurslardan foydalanish taraflarning mintaqaviy ekologik tizimi qolaversa ularning iqtisodiy jihatdan rivojlanishiga jiddiy ta’sir ko‘rsatuvchi omil ekanligidan kelib chiqib, xalqaro tajribalarga asoslangan holda vaziyatni huquqiy jihatdan tartibga solish va O‘zbekiston Respublikasining tashqi siyosatdagi pozitsiyasiga asoslangan holda mualliflar tomonidan takliflar bayon etilgan.
