This article analyzes the opposition between humans and the wolf in Ernest Seton-Thompson’s story “Lobo” from both artistic and philosophical perspectives. In the story, the character of Lobo is presented as a symbol of freedom, loyalty, and the laws of nature. The human image, on the other hand, is portrayed through intelligence and the desire for domination. Humans are represented through the image of hunters, whose стремление to dominate nature is highlighted. Furthermore, through the tragic ending of the story, the author’s critical attitude toward human interference in nature is revealed.References
