Abstract

Civil law constitutes one of the fundamental branches of legal systems worldwide, governing private relationships between individuals, legal entities, and other participants in civil turnover. This article provides an extensive theoretical analysis of civil law, focusing on its conceptual foundations, principles, sources, and modern developmental tendencies. Particular attention is paid to the influence of globalization, digitalization, and comparative legal developments, especially within the context of British and European legal doctrine.
