This article examines the impact of formative assessment strategies on educational quality and learning outcomes in English language teaching. It explores the theoretical foundations of formative assessment and its role in enhancing learners' communicative competence, language proficiency, and academic achievement. The study highlights the importance of continuous feedback, self-assessment, peer assessment, and reflective learning in promoting active learner participation and improving instructional effectiveness. Furthermore, the article discusses how formative assessment supports learner-centered education, increases motivation, and facilitates personalized learning. The findings suggest that the effective implementation of formative assessment strategies significantly improves teaching quality, learner engagement, and overall learning outcomes in English language education.
