This scientific abstract analyzes the legal and economic relationship between geographical indications and trademarks as crucial objects of intellectual property law. The study provides a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences between these two objects of intellectual property, specifically focusing on the terms of legal protection, the nature of ownership rights, and statutory regulatory mechanisms. Furthermore, it examines practical legal conflicts (the principle of priority) and marketing synergy (two-stage identification) tendencies. Solutions are proposed to address legal challenges in promoting geographical indications as national brands in the global marketplace.References
