EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF ATTRIBUTION FOR JOURNALISTIC WORKS IN DIGITAL MEDIA
Vol. 5 No. 24 (2026): Innovative Research in the Modern World 86-89
Abstract
The thesis analyzes the substance of the right of attribution regarding journalistic works in digital mass media. It distinguishes between the author’s real name, pseudonym, and anonymous publication methods, while evaluating the retention of author information in material reposts, headline cards, search engine results, and social media announcements. Uzbek law is contrasted with the Berne Convention, German law, and French law. Without proposing legislative amendments, the research establishes functional criteria for attribution within the framework of existing law.
