Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the perception process, which stands as one of the most fundamental areas of experimental psychology. The paper systemizes the conceptual views of classical and modern psychological schools regarding the nature of perception, specifically focusing on gestalt psychology, cognitivism, and the ecological approach. Furthermore, the apperceptive nature of perception and its interconnection with an individual's subjective experience, motivation, and emotional sphere are theoretically substantiated. The article concludes by highlighting the transformation of human perception in the era of digital technologies and its specific forms of manifestation.
