Ushbu tezisda zamonaviy ingliz adabiyotida ekologik inqiroz va iqlim o‘zgarishining badiiy talqini "eko-tanqid" (ecocriticism) va "iqlim fentezi/badiiyoti" (cli-fi) yo‘nalishlari doirasida tadqiq etilgan. Ishda Margaret Atvud, Amitav Gosh va Richard Pauers kabi taniqli adiblar asarlarida tabiat va inson munosabatlari, antropotsen davri muammolari hamda ekologik halokatlar ssenariylarining yoritilishi ilmiy tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot natijalari zamonaviy ingliz prozasining global ekologik ongni shakllantirishdagi diskursiv va ijtimoiy rolini belgilashga xizmat qiladi.
