This thesis analyzes the theoretical and legal content of the concept of digital sovereignty, its relationship with state sovereignty, and its role in the context of modern digital transformation. Digital technologies, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud services, cross-border information flows, and cybersecurity problems require states to reconsider their traditional views on sovereignty. The thesis defines digital sovereignty as the ability of a state to conduct independent policy in the digital space, protect national information infrastructure, ensure the security of personal data, form a cybersecurity system, and develop the digital economy based on national interests.References
