This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the legal foundations of its system of public administration. In particular, based on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law “On Local State Authority” and other normative legal acts, the administrative-territorial division of the country (regions, districts, and cities), their legal status, and interrelations are examined. Furthermore, the institutional structure of the system of public administration is analyzed from a scientific perspective, including the roles and powers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as local executive authorities.References
