This thesis examines stylistic problems in translating literary devices in A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. The study analyzes the translation of metaphors, repetitions, symbolism, and dialogues used in the novel. It also discusses difficulties in preserving Hemingway’s simple and minimalist writing style in translation. The research concludes that maintaining stylistic equivalence is essential in literary translation.
