This article analyzes the ecological and systematic characteristics of mammals in Nukus city and its surrounding areas. The main mammal species found in the region, their ecological groups, distribution, and ecological significance are described. In addition, the impact of anthropogenic factors on wildlife and issues related to the conservation of rare species are discussed.
