THE INFLUENCE OF METABOLIC SYNDROME ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

Abstract
Metabolic disorders significantly increase the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of metabolic syndrome on the development of cardiovascular pathology and evaluate the relationship between the main components of the syndrome and cardiovascular risk factors. Clinical, anthropometric, and laboratory parameters were analyzed in patients with metabolic syndrome. Statistically significant correlations were identified between obesity indicators, lipid metabolism disorders, and cardiovascular parameters
